Bookings are subject to availability, weather conditions, property access, staff availability, and operational requirements.
We will do our best to attend on the agreed service date and time. However, outdoor services may be affected by weather, traffic, equipment issues, safety concerns, or other circumstances outside our control.
If we need to reschedule, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
To help us complete the service safely and efficiently, you agree to:
Provide accurate details about the property and required service
Ensure safe and reasonable access to the service area
Unlock gates or provide access instructions before our arrival
Remove vehicles, furniture, toys, tools, hoses, pet waste, and other obstacles from the lawn or garden area
Keep children and pets away from the work area while services are being completed
Let us know about hazards, fragile items, irrigation systems, hidden objects, uneven ground, or restricted areas
Ensure the property is suitable and safe for our team to work on
We may refuse, pause, or reschedule work if we consider the site unsafe, inaccessible, unsuitable, or significantly different from the information provided.
Outdoor areas vary depending on weather, soil condition, drainage, grass type, property maintenance history, weeds, pests, and other environmental factors.
While we take care when providing our services, we cannot guarantee specific lawn growth, colour, weed removal results, or long-term garden condition unless this has been agreed in writing as part of a specific service plan.
Some services, such as weed control, trimming, or mowing overgrown areas, may reveal underlying lawn damage, bare patches, uneven ground, pests, debris, or other existing property issues.
Green waste removal is only included where specifically stated in your quote, package, or booking confirmation.
If green waste removal is not included, grass clippings, branches, hedge trimmings, or other waste may be left on-site in a reasonable location.
Additional fees may apply for green waste collection, disposal, tip fees, large volumes, or unexpected waste.
Payment terms will be provided at the time of booking, invoice, or quote confirmation.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due on completion of the service or by the due date stated on the invoice.
We may accept payment by bank transfer, card, online payment, or other approved payment methods.
If payment is late, we may:
Send payment reminders
Pause or cancel future services
Add reasonable administration or recovery costs where permitted
Refer overdue accounts to a collection agency if necessary
You agree to pay all agreed charges for services provided.

Cancellation or rescheduling fees may apply if:

Because our services are performed outdoors, weather may affect bookings.
We may reschedule or pause work due to rain, storms, high winds, extreme heat, unsafe ground conditions, poor visibility, or any situation that may affect safety or service quality.
We are not responsible for delays caused by weather or conditions outside our reasonable control.
We aim to provide reliable, professional, and high-quality lawn care services.
If you are unhappy with a completed service, please contact us as soon as possible and provide details, photos, or a clear explanation of the concern.
Where appropriate, we may inspect the issue, explain the outcome, offer a reasonable solution, or arrange corrective work.
Any concern should be raised within a reasonable time after the service is completed.
We take reasonable care when working on your property. However, we are not responsible for damage caused by:
Pre-existing property issues
Hidden objects in grass or garden areas
Poorly installed edging, irrigation, wires, cables, or fixtures
Rotten, weak, brittle, or unstable materials
Items left in the work area
Unsafe or poorly maintained surfaces
Normal effects of mowing, trimming, edging, or garden maintenance
Issues not disclosed to us before work begins
You must tell us about any delicate, valuable, hidden, or high-risk items before service starts.
If you believe we have caused damage, you must notify us promptly and allow us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the issue.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lawn Hero is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of income, loss of use, loss of opportunity, or loss of enjoyment.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under New Zealand consumer law where those rights cannot legally be excluded.
Where we are legally responsible for a loss, our liability will be limited to the reasonable cost of re-performing the relevant service or the amount paid for that service, unless the law requires otherwise.
